Chasing the dream

You can get tired from any job no matter how exciting it used to be. You know how old daily routine gets when you have the same job for 7 years? The fact that I had to commute 100 miles daily didn’t help too, considering it was on congested So Cal freeway instead of twisty roads with smooth tarmac. I wasn’t happy anymore. I was ready to call it quits.
Since my early 20’s I have been dreaming about working for myself. However it’s not so easy to step away from good paying job, nice paychecks every two weeks kept me from making this critical decision for years. Ever since I hit 30, the thought of having my own business occupied my head 24/7. Now, almost a year later, I was ready to pull the trigger.
I had different scenarios of my future career, unfortunately none of them seemed exciting. Yes, making money is important, however I didn’t want to feel that I’m doing something I have no interest in. My last day was approaching fast, and I still didn’t have firm plan of action. Then I thought about one thing I absolutely love - bikes. I doubt I will ever get tired of them. That same day my boss asked me if I know somebody who wants to rent his old warehouse. Right at that moment I saw puzzle pieces falling into place.
