The officer had no right to put the passenger in danger. TxRider must be as communist as the city of Watauga. This city is corrupt and is dangerous to its citizens and people passing through. The passenger had no way of stopping this from happening so the officers should have backed off. The chase is what the officers wanted obviously and now there is an innocent passenger hurt. Don't think they won't do this to you. I suggest everyone stay away for Watauga Texas. This is not the only police power trip incident in this city. I was letting a guy from my church stay with me until he got back on his feet. He worked closing at a restaurant and often got home after midnight. You can't do that in this town. The police pulled him over and drug him into a field on mid cities by a storage facility then beat him. I told my friend he must have done something but he said repeatedly he did not which was proven by the cops releasing him with no charges after keeping him the night. The guy that got beat has had a hard life and did not want to press charges. He was a nice quiet person that did not deserve this abuse from the city of Watauga Texas police force. Watauga Texas now has a piece of the world trade centers in front of their brand new fire station which was built during this recession along with lots of other projects. I don't think the city of Watauga Texas brings any honor to those who died on 9/11 and even though I am a citizen here I think it should go to a better more deserving town.

I'm from Windhoek, Namibia,Africa. We also had a 'Authorized' KTM dealer open shop here about two years ago. I recently took in my 950 for the 15 000km service. Was shocking as I received my bike back with 10x more defects than when I took it in. I bought KTM because its truly a specialized bike. The after market service outside Austria and Switzerland suggests otherwise! Also had a clutch slave failure less than 1k after the service. When I bled the system, what came out of there looked more like black coffee than mineral oil. These guys are bullshitting all of us! Writing to the big boys in Austria soon.

Hi there love your writing. I have sometimes been stricken with the same illness. I'm not saying this cure is suitable for everyone but for me . . . yoga. Studying and practicing yoga teaches me to stay in the moment, enjoy what I have, and be grateful for it. Plus, it keeps my body flexible and ready for those long rides without a need for a Chiropractor at the end.

Having said that . . . I am the proud new owner of a 2009 Multistrada 1100s! That's how I stumbled across your site. By the way, your bike looks awesome! I just ordered the same Givi case because I thought it looked (relatively) good on yours.

Thanks again for your writing - keep it up!

I really wish the the US would adopt the same laws as they have in the UK. I know that there are select cities in the US that have made it law that you can not be on your cell phone... but not many. Really... what can not wait until you get there! We use to have to do it all of the time!
