Rally is extremely dangerous. There are no runoff areas, safety barriers or corner marshalls. The road surface is unpredictable. Still, you have to push it to the limit to be at the top. You also have to deal with the spectators jumping out in front of you, sometimes the entire stages are cancelled because of that. Police is supposed to prevent that from happening by making sure that no people are on the path of the rally cars when they zoom by. Sometimes policeman are the danger themselves.
