As my previous post suggests I have purchased a couple of Cortech items a couple of days ago. Namely saddlebags and a tank bag. Earlier today I had posted the saddle bags review. Now it is the tank bag’s turn.

The purpose of this bag really obvious - whenever you need to take some little things with you when you go riding that is when you use it. It is small enough not obstruct the motorcycle gauges and big enough to fit a couple of small items in there (as shown on the picture).

Cortech tank bag as well as the saddle bags is made from quality materials. All zippers work perfectly. It’s got one “big” (6.5 L) compartment with the whole bunch of small pockets for pens, notepads, keys etc. There is a transparent snap-on map pocket on top of the bag. There is another small pocket on the rider’s side of the bag, apparently for a small item like a mobile phone. And the best thing is - the bag is magnetic. So it really takes a split second to mount it on and take it off your tank. It also comes with a rain cover which unlike the ones for saddlebags is very simple to operate. Again, I am not quite sure I’d be doing a lot of riding in the rain. So I won’t be packing it with me.

The bag came with a mysterious strap. I am not quite sure what is it intended to be used for. There is a hook on the side opposite the rider. So I guess you could use this strap as an additional safety or to carry the bag around. I am yet to figure that out.

Overall the bag is awesome. I took it today on my ride to the office. The bag loved it :).
