Maxed out

テつ Yesterday I watched the movie about evil credit card companies that charge obscene interests and fees to get us in trouble. It also showed greedy bill collectors who are trying toテつ return something people owe to them as well as corrupt govermentテつ manipulated by credit card companies. I think the people who suffered coud’ve used fundamental rule of motorcycle riding: act as the others are trying to kill you (or get you in debt in this case) If people are taking on more debt that they can ever pay off they are just plain stupid. Nobody forced them to sign up for creditcards, let alone max them out. If one cannot live according to his income that is another problem. American society was raised on easy credit and people are used to having things they shouldn’t be able to afford. If you are making $7.50 an hour, don’t go out and buy a house just because you got approved for a loan, you can’t afford it! In other less civilized countries people are taught to pay their debts, they know that not paying could have horrific consecuences. Only in America people take on a lot of debt and then become these “victims” who don’t feel obligated to pay back. What is missing is basic e-d-u-c-a-t-i-o-n, “don’t take on any debt you can’t pay off” philosophy should be learned since young age. I know, because I haveテつ zero debt.

It is like this - if you become fat eating junk food 3 times a day 7 days a week don’t go around blaming McDonalds for it.
