Welcome to the Club!

If you remember back in December 2007 there was a post about a couple of my co-workers passing the rider’s course. To refresh your memory there was a a female who’s fiancee is a rider, a data base admin and a project manager. Back then the survey showed that the likelier person to get a bike and start riding was a project manager (PM for future reference, not sure if he’d want his name revealed).

PM walked into my office today’s morning telling me he had something to show me. Something gave away the fact that he’d finally purchased a motorcycle. May be it was his grin, or may be the Icon riding boots he wore :). In any case we went downstairs where he’d showcased his new purchase - 2007 Ninja 650R with a little over 100 miles on it in passion red. Obviously I sat on his bike. First impressions - feather light comparing to my Futura, low but comfortable seat (felt a little more comfortable than the one on SV650S), very nice looking exhaust. The exhaust note is pretty weak, so I do see an aftermarket exhaust in the future.

I took a couple of his bike’s pics off of PM’s facebook page. Hope he doesn’t mind.
Welcome to the club. Be safe. May be we’ll get see his riding impressions on this blog some day. Who knows …

Ha…Cheers Eugene. No doubt I’ll be posting some interesting tales as soon as I can find the confidence to go over 55 on P.C.H.
Can’t get over the great sense of camaraderie between people on 2 wheels. I love it!
